DHS Announces Dates & Locations of Public Hearings on Family Care and IRIS

The Department of Health Services (DHS) has announced several different methods for people to provide testimony on the changes the legislature directed DHS to make in Act 55 (2015-2017 state budget) to the Family Care and IRIS programs. Public testimony will be accepted at six public hearings held around the state beginning on September 9, 2015 in Green Bay. People may participate in the public hearings in-person or by webcast.

Testimony will also be accepted by email or U.S. Mail. Written testimony is due by October 30, 2015.

DHS initially announced there would be two additional hearings, one with advocacy groups and one with the tribes.  Dates and locations for these hearings have not been announced in this notice.  Stay tuned for more information.
